1) If your device still turns on:
If you have VERY information on the computer, back up your important files as soon as possible and then:
B) Disconnect the battery if possible
C) If you cannot access the battery then just make sure you do not turn it back on until your MacBook is diagnosed/fully fixed.
D) Bring it in for a Free Diagnostics/assessment or UltraSonic Cleaning if the MacBook is fully working.
E) Do not turn it upside down and wait For it to dry (this will make liquid travel further in to places it hasn't touched in some models depending on the design. Please remember that anywhere the liquid travels through it will leave traces behind that will eventually turn in to corrosion.
As liquid dries out, it turns in to corrosion and corrosion is more conductive and it can also grow and cause more and more issues for the computer. Unfortunately there is a lot of misinformation on the Internet and a lot of users attempt to turn the computer back on after a few days of drying it out. Remember that liquid does not disappear, when it dries, it turns in to corrosion and is far more conductive. This would change the behaviour of the computer and its like throwing a bunch of conductive metals or wires around a circuit board. Then a 5 volt or 12 volt or 20 volt shorts to ground and fries up components on those probes.
